Default Google Impressions Way Off

Today I have had 300 page views so far, but only a very very small number of impressions in adsense. I checked the patterns of my visitors to make sure it could not be like a robot and they all look legit... Could this be banner blockers killing me? Have any of you had this same problem and if so what did you do about it. I read somewhere I could point a sub domain to google.com in the dns information and use that in the googles advertising code. Im just not sure what to do about this.

It could be that Google is serving defaults, one way to measure this is to supply a url for the default instead of Google show PSAs. You can then compare the number that Google is reporting, plus the number of your default page and they should match up with your overall traffic number.

Also there is a delay in the Google stats, so if you are trying to compare todays stats you wont get the total number from Google until tomorrow.

I just thought I'd add my quick bit about Adsense. Its been said many times before, but....I just began sending all my Fastclick defaults to them, and WOW. Great results. Don't know why I didn't do it before. Like most people, I would definitely recommend them. Now I just hope I don't get kicked out for dumb reasons like I see has happened to others
