i have read lots of good posts about mod_zip in this and other forums and would like to install it to reduce some bandwidth and cost http://geekvillage.com/ubb/smile.gif however i am wondering is there any type of site that is suitable or unsuitable to use mod_zip?
most suitable : mainly text, like forum sites. how about : 1. site with lots of picture archives? 2. site with midi? 3. site with animation? 4. site with downloads(movies and music)? 5. site highly uses cgi, mysql, ssi, php? and how much bandwidth can the above type of site save? 10%? 20%? thanks guys in advance for your help http://geekvillage.com/ubb/smile.gif |
