Advertising.com is mainly a CPA network with some CPC. They do have a CPM arm, but there are specific requirements that need to be met in order to have that oppertunity. I would suggest that if you opperate a big US impression based site to contact your advertising.com account manager or their sales department. That's your best bet.

Hi Buddy-

Many of Advertising.com publishers provide several hundred thousand to millions of impressions per day. Unfortunately publishers with smaller numbers of impressions see a greater variability of earnings, and it can take a longer amount of time for the effective CPM to increase to steady-state levels.

As I have run into a few publishers recently that fit this profile that I have been conversing with via PM, I thought it might be helpful to share with the group:

Unfortunately sites with the most or all of the following attributes are typically going to get very low CPM rates:

-Placing banners at the very bottom of a long page where most people will not ever look.

-Sites that skew high percentage very young (under 18).

-Sites that skew high percentage non-US, non-Canada, non-Europe, non-Australia.

-Sites that have a very high frequency / very large number of pages viewed per user.

Even CPM advertisers typically have some type of goal (like awareness within a target audience) that is or can be measured or quantified. As such sites exhibiting all or most of the attributes above typically don't work well for CPM, CPC, or CPA advertisers and may earn extremely low CPMs.

As always, I am happy to brainstorm with publishers who PM me on how to potentially change some of the attributes above, and increase eCPM in general.

regards-
John
