PayPal.com is what I normally use for most transactions.

It should make no difference where in the world the buyer resides. All of the payment methods mentioned in the previous discussion about this may be used across borders (ie, money orders, wired funds, escrow services, PayPal, etc).
And since most domain transfers take place online, there's no problem there. ------------------ Czar

You can also consider western union service. They have offices all over the world and it only takes 20 minutes to send the money. They take rather big commission tho...

I used to live in israel for the last 22 years.
I dont see any problem with this - from sending a check by mail, bank money Transfer or western union. there are soooo many options out there. ------------------ Why don't you read the free literature we included with your computer? Be careful using PayPal to transfer large sums of money. Lots of webmasters have lost out due to unusual circumstances. You could end up selling your site but never really getting paid. ------------------ JP Sauve, for FreebieGeek.com - Earn 80 cents per lead and Prize-O-Matic.com - Earn 25 cents for our PS2 giveaway |

Personally I would NEVER use paypal for anything other than ebay auctions. Their 'fraud department' is not very helpful. I filed a complaint some time ago and never heard from them again.

I have used the escrow services at Afternic several times and have been pleased with their services. Basically the buyer sends Afternic the money and Afternic holds onto the money until they confirm that the domain name has been successfully transferred to the buyer. Then they send the seller a check for the funds. Plus the check is written by Afternic, so you don't have to worry about cashing a foreign check. The service costs the buyer $50.

Hello mp3next
1) You may sell your site in our Trade/Barter/Buy/Sell Forum. Please read that Forums rules for guidence and procedures. 2) YOUR topic aka this thread http://geekvillage.com/ubb/smile.gif which this post appears in is just fine and dandy 3) My comments were inserted in the post of member kudzu in this thread and directed at she/he and no one else. This is a procedure we use. Thank you member AK 4) If I have something to say to you, I will either post to the thread, insert it in your post, or email you privately. 5) My screen name is Steve_S but Admin in the context that you used it is just fine http://geekvillage.com/ubb/smile.gif I have been called many other "names" but we aren't going to go their. Don't hesitate to contact me privately via our BB Feedback form if you have other questions/comments on this post. <wew> Excuse me for the long blurb and off topic. On topic: I have been a buyer of a domain via http://www.greatdomains.com/ and they did a fine job from my perspective. Good luck. ------------------ Steve_S Administrator/Owner/Webmaster/Tribal Chief/Janitor Read what our Members think of geek/talk.
