Default Looking for some help for my new site on Hosting

Hello everyone, I am currently in the process of building a website that compares and offers reviews of Web Hosting companies. I was hoping that some of you would be willing to help me out by writing short reviews of any companies that you have used in the past or are currently using. Just honest reviews, they don't need to be too long, whatever information you feel would be important to help someone who is trying to decide which company to go with. If you could also give them a rating of 1 to 5 stars that would be great. Below is a list of companies that I am starting out with and building pages for, I will certainly be adding to this list in the future, but this is where I am starting. The companies listed below all have pretty good reputations. Also, if you currently use a company not listed here and would recommend them to others, definitely send me a review. After the main list of companies, I have resellers hosts, virtual private servers and dedicated servers, if you have any experience with these, reviews would be much appreciated. If you want your name and location placed at the bottom of your review please add it, you can email me your reviews at webhostingreview33@gmail.com

Thank You, any help will be very appreciated.

from your list

Lunarpages - i was with them for 2 years and it was very good. i still hear good reviews though they have a very tight resource usage policy.

HostGator - i have a dedicated with them and i am loving it

you missed

asmallorange - i have an account there and i have no complaints. support has been terrific and downtime is practically zero.

I also have an account with Dreamhost and pretty happy with their service as well.

You might have better success if you build a review system on the site itself

Thanks for the response, I am planning on having a review system on the site, but was just hoping to get a head start.

HostGator is the best web hosting for me after I have tried a lot of webhosting.

Live support 24 hours, SEO friendly hosting, and great responsibilies for their staffs are good for HostGator's professional work.

Your best bet is to install a review script on your site so users can submit their review.

LidquidWeb - great webhost - LOVING them! The hardware is superb, network, too! Never really had any problems with them. I have a virtual private server with them

APlus.net - I had a dedicated server with them. Paid a LOT upfront, signed contracts, etc. When I finally got the server, it was a) painfully slow b) overwrote database files with content of image files for some reason, access rights to files changed themselves etc (corrupt harddrive?) c) service was awful - when I notified them they said they would take of everything. After 72 hours of achieving nothing, I started phoning them. For hours, going through everything with them. In the end I managed to solve the problem (recovering the databases) by myself, NOT at all with the help of their team. Website was down for 72 hours, lots of data lost, no refund was given, nothing. Oh wait, they offered me a $10 discount for a month of FTP backup. Of course only at aplus.net

LayeredTech - Great company, really loved them. Also had dedicated servers here. Superb servers, btw. In the end their support went down a little, not sure how it is now. BAD thing, though: 3 days after I paid for my 2 servers, they told me to remove my website within 12 hours or they would pull the plug. Never gave me a reason why. Support just said "no, my boss said remove it immediately". Also, no refund given for the month! Lost quite some money there.

I have used few companies, but will review IX web hosting here.

They are not ideally suited for critical websites, as in some months you get a lot of down time. Support is reasonably okay, but occasionally takes too much time for reply.

Control panel is easy, but I would have loved to have a cpanel.

Good thing about their service is that they offer different IP for add-on domains and most of them would be in diff. class "C". That is pretty helpful in SEO point of view.
