Need script to store database of users - geek/talk: Signature-free discourse for serious web publishers

Hello

I'm new here so please help me out. I need to get a script that can be used as a register form that can store registered members information. I want to create a members only page on my website where only members that sign up can view. I want to give them a login and password ID. And I would also like it to store demographic data of them. And If possible a way to send mass emails to all the members. Can anyone help me or know of where I can find a script that can do this? Thanks

While there are many generic scripts that do things like this (check www.hotscripts.com and cgi-resources.com ), your best bet may be a custom program. Obviously if you just want a handful of users to have special access a script found at either of those sites will probably serve you just fine.

However, if you wisht o offer a major service to registered users you are going to probably want a nice system that meets your exact needs and lets users do exactly what you wish instead of what some premade program things you want.

Maybe you could get a members only script, and configure it if you can find one that you are allowed to.

There is a good Javascript one that I use, it does not show passwords on the pages, allows different members to log into different pages (so you could have a page for each different member, or different pages for different types of members etc). This I found out at the Javascript Source, I had Url here but cant remember it, the one I displayed was wrong http://geekvillage.com/ubb/frown.gif
