It's great news.

Chet seems to have taken a leaf out of the Shareasale book in restricting CPC offers only to those publishers who have proven either their longevity with the firm or ability to convert clicks to leads, which is likely to reduce script-kiddie fraud to some degree.

Hopefully this will raise the appeal of CPC advertising to marketers, and result in renewed interest in the model.

FWIW, some of the affiliate networks operating in the same market as FineClicks (such as DirectLeads and Affiliate-Fuel) have recently increased their exposure to CPC, which suggests that the humble click has not yet given up the ghost.
