Anyway, I'm looking for a system that's easy to set up, and easy to incorporate Adsense ads into.

Oh, and I'm hoping for something free.
Any recommendations?

And there's not a whole lot of help in the tutorials for what I'm wanting to do. I think I'm getting a handle on it to some extent, but before I invest a whole lot more time and energy, I thought I'd check with the group.

Do any of you have any experience with DFP? If so, how did you like it? Is it better than daisychaining? What's the best part of it? What's the worst?

I'd love to hear about your experiences, as it'll help me (and probably others) decide whether this is something worth pursuing.

Hi,

for some unknown reason our url <url removed> has been banned from facebook open graph - basically when you type our url into anything Facebook, it gives an error message stating "blocked content".

We have filled in the contact form over 10 times and have so far got nothing but a canned email saying our account is in good standing. Though the url is not associated with any account or needs to be.

Would appreciate any help to get this url un-banned, btw we had not even launched our facebook enabled site when the error started to appear.

regards,
BESIMPLE :)

Ok I have been taking a back seat just scanning through all the post here trying to use the 5 minute rule, meaning don’t just jump into a conversation for 5 minutes so that way you know what the talk is really about.

I quit my job almost 3 years ago when our baby girl was born to be a stay at home dad. I started getting the itch to go back to work but instead I fell into this trap of trying to make money online.

I have 30 domains now (only just a hand full of them up and running) July is my first real month out in the big world of the internet. Looks like I made somewhere a $90.00. It’s not much but from what others say they have gone months with not making anywhere close to that and some are making a 1000x that.

Everything I am doing is all self taught. I don’t feel like I am losing at this game but not seeing this really blooming into what some crazy money making future for me.

My one web site that has been up for almost 50 days now has made its way to the top 30 on Yahoo and top 15 on Bing, still nowhere to be found on google. When the search phrase “find local golf players” is entered. I am only getting like 10-20 U. visitors a day

Are there any better ways out there or articles any one can direct me to help fine tune my keywords ? Also I am reading things out there that are saying stop stressing about keywords they are a thing of the past.
Another question I have is my bounce rate is around 50%, I have no video of a quick introduction of what my site offers. Have others used this to help slow the bounce rate down or am I just dreaming ?

Thank you for allowing me to post here.

When you try to sell something directly to people, there's a slim chance that the person is not going to purchase on the first visit. However if you get a customer on your email list, you can always go back and market to them. The Money Is In the List Guys. You heard it a million times. You also have to know how to drive traffic to your website. You can do that by video marketing, writing articles and submitting them to directories, paid advertising such as ppc, ppv.

I'm about to launch a travel website which will have user generated content on it.

So here is where I need more understanding and help... Let's say I launch the website. I can add a bunch of content to it in the beginning but what would attract the users to my site in the start if there is very little content on it. Or in other words, what incentive would they have in adding content to my website? In the beginning, I don't want them to come to my site and assume it's already a "dead" site with no users on it and move on.

Any help for a newbie like me would be appreciated.
Thank you for your time.

I'm needing help with a few issues because I feel I'm in uncharted territory. I'm getting close to launching www.TrafficLottery.com and so one thing I need is reviews of the site. I was going for a minimalist sorta thing, uncluttered and to the point, understandable, not fancy just clean.
Second I'm trying to be legal and I'm not trying to be a gambling site although I do want to make money like all of us do. I want opinions on my "automatic entry service" OPTION. Do you guys see this as a service or gambling? It IS free if you want, and weekly chances are the same whether you pay for submission or add yourself weekly, but...
Should I or even can I use google ads on this site?
Would paypal be good enough to use for ordering the automatic entry service or do I really need a merchant account? Will paypal have a problem with the site?
And last how to get it started/ how to promote? Would I be able to use clickbank or any other affiliate networks for this website? How would you get some decent traffic quick?
FYI, my idea was to charge 10 dollars per year for the automatic entry service and I would have paid $7(?) for affiliates to sign people up. I would also buy keywords from google.?! AND I'm hoping it goes viral. I would also be sending out an email to only those who entered that week and announce the winner and welcome them back and MAYBE add an advertiser to the anouncement. Anybody interested in partnering in some way? Is the automatic signup option gambling or a service as it would be entirely free without the automatic signup option? HELP!
