how many visitors can I get ... ?

Hello,

if I'll register simple site with a lot of content (words) on it ... not a lot , but pretty many http://geekvillage.com/ubb/wink.gif ... and register it with something like Submitta (to 1,000+ search engines), will I be able to get 1-2 visitors a day ? (or how many will I be able to get?)

The question "how many visitors can I get ... ?" cannot not be answered generically with any real meaning.

It depends greatly on ...
>> what your site is about
>> is the topic of your site something that is commonly searched
>> have you used meta tags effectively for sites that use them to index sites
>> have you set up your site with key words near the top and in headlines, so that sites that scan and index sites this will weigh your site properly when they index it.
>> do the words you've tried to stress in your site and meta tags match the words used by surfers in search engines when they are looking for a site like yours

Submitting to a 1000 search engines sounds impressive, but in reality, about 990 of those search engines aren't going to get you much traffic

I haven't checked this figure lately, but at one time the stat was something like the top 7 search engines account for 95% of the traffic. IMHO, you can hand submit to the main ones yourself, and save yourself a few bucks.

You could always use the submission part of geekvillage under the webmaster tools to submit to like ten or twenty of the top engines. Just keep in mind that submitting to search engines usually takes two months to actually show up on search engines. getting one hit a day is not all that difficult, as log as you have content that people want to see. I have a site that has no content, no search engine submission, and is still under construction at the present time, and that gets about ten uniques a day.
