Hello again everyone!

I'll try to get someone to review my site one more time, since I didn't get any comments the last time..Maybe it's just perfect? Nah, just kidding http://geekvillage.com/ubb/smile.gif Or am I? http://geekvillage.com/ubb/wink.gif

Anyways, the website is called Fun Dimension and can be accessed at http://www.fundimension.com

It's a humor/entertainment website which contains images, photos, programs, illusions, video clips and more... Everything is free. ( unlike some other sites )..

I don't want to include the top sites buttons on each page, but there's no way around it ( except updating 700 pages for one lousy little thing ).. I will only have them up for a short time to see how they work for me..

Here are some questions :
Is the site fast loading?
How's the menu system working for you?
Are you having a great time while visiting?
Do you actually laugh? http://geekvillage.com/ubb/wink.gif
What's the overall impression?

Regards,
Raymond Hansen, webmaster http://www.fundimension.com

I just looked through your site really quickly, and there is one glaring problem I had.

For your CSS, you have made links look exactly the same as any other text on the page http://geekvillage.com/ubb/frown.gif

It will be very hard for anyone to distinguish a link from normal text unless they are browsing with there mouse, and not their eyes.

I suggest either making your links underlined, or at the very least, a different color.

I've never liked folks who use non underlined links. People's minds get trained to think that, oh yeah, the underlined words are the link, then we (webmasters) change the rules on them.

I personally don't think non underlined links are user friendly. Thats not to say that somewhere down the line that the whole concept of HTML will change, but for right now the accepted thought is that underlined words represent links.

The banner ad's accross the top, sometimes they are loading, sometimes I get a broken link where the ad should be. I take note of who was delivering the ads, something you may want to keep an eye on.

The justification of the main body text is not consistant. I was looking at the source of the HTML of many of the pages and noticed that the "inner table" size was varied, (Such as TABLE width="560", width="600")

I don't know if you are generating code by hand or using a piece of software. I'd be interested to know, just seems that for as simple as your site is, the HTML is a bit complex and inconsistant.

Overall, the site is clean and simple, the content does the job, and delivers its messages (its funny!): B+

Thanks both of you for replying!

Looks like both of you commented on the link setup. I will make them underlined, which hopefully improves the site a little?

About the ads : I know they are broken! I've seen that myself, and it's Engage's fault! They've been showing lots of broken ads lately ( at least on my site ).. This is a bad thing since it makes the site look unprofessional..

About the table width : I'm not quite sure what you mean http://geekvillage.com/ubb/smile.gif. I've been making the site by hand ( Notepad ), and it has been going through a lot of face lifts during the past few months, so some code from a previous "design" may have been left in there somewhere..

I will check it out, thanks for pointing it out!
