Howdy guys! Yay! I have finally finished my very first site http://geekvillage.com/ubb/smile.gif Now I need a site review http://geekvillage.com/ubb/wink.gif Heres the URL: appleprograms.com

Couple of notes/questions.

- What do you think of the CSS. What I mean is that links are not underlined. Did you have a problem recognizing links from normal text?

- Do you think the quality of the site is good enough to promote (i.e submit to search engines, trade links....)

- Do you think there is enough CONTENT to promote the site?

-Do you like to dance the macarana or the hokey pokey?

- Do not pay too much attention to my forums. I am going to be intergrating them into my site a little bit better tommorow and tonight.

-Small problem. If you try to submit the form on the top of the page (you know, the one with all the software categories) by pressing return/Enter it returns a big naster "Error: Unknown Action " error. I have no idea why it does this. But I don't think too many people will be submitting the form by pressing return, but still...

Please tell me of any missing pages, typos, broken links etc. But also, please tell me some good aspects of the site- especially on the overall layout and design And if you guys could give it a letter grade kinda' like Questy does, that would be super cool! http://geekvillage.com/ubb/smile.gif Well, thanks a lot.

RE: >> Did you have a problem recognizing links from normal text?

I personally do not like that concept. The average surfer has been taught, (consciously or unconsciously) that the underlined words are the links. For some people this will cause some confusion.

RE: >> Do you think the quality of the site is good enough to promote?

Yes

RE: >> Do you think there is enough CONTENT to promote the site?

Maybe. IMHO, if you think it wouldn't be too much trouble to add a bit more content, I'd wait awhile before you promote.

I think everything in the Utilities section came up as a dead link for me.

One other small detail, you see how Steve_S incorporates a copyright notice at the bottom of each page along with the nav links. Consider adding an ownership / copyright notice as part of your footer on each page. You'll want this footer to show up on every page.

Overall look and feel is pretty nice, navigation is nice. Fix up the broken links, and add a little content, and I think you have an "A"!
