best BB program!!!

hey guys!!!

what do you guys think is the best script for running a bulletin board?

assuming:
1. i have no knowledge of cgi

2. i don't have a credit card (i need something free)

If you have no knowledge of CGI, you're in for a crash course, since editing CGI is required for customization of all the BB's I know of. It's not that hard, though, I did it with a basic understanding of Javascript.

I'm not sure that I know of a free BB script.. this particular BB makes use of (very well, I might add) infopop.com's Ultimate Bulletin Board Script, which is by far the most popular. I was checking out cgi-resources a couple of days ago and came across what appeared to be a pretty cool BB- IkonBoard. Its the top rated BB script there and it is free. I checked out the demo and it looked pretty wicked. Here is the adress: http://www.ikondiscussion.com/ikonboard/
