I've been looking around and found a bunch of information on using WML to create a wireless copy of my sports site. The one thing I haven't found yet is any sort of standards or specs for formatting stories. I have used www.wapsilon.com (http://www.wapsilon.com) to view some other wireless sites and see stories that span pages and pages, so I'm assuming there is some ideal limit of data to include in a page. Does anyone know much about this?

Let's say I have one story that is 500 words long and another that is 2,000 words. I'd like to come up with some solution I can standardize with perl to create the pages for each story. I have a ton of stories in a database and I figure I can automate all the page creation through perl.

One other question, can a palm pilot or cel phone execute a perl script. If I gave a link that was through cgi-bin, and of course added the appropriate content header in the results, will that work?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
