Well, for some time I've been pondering on how to create a fileboard for my site. I'm currently using fileboard (a perl software) I'm waiting for a new version, but I can safely say that is ***** in it's current state, much because it does not use PHP/MySQL. So, I wonder - how hard is it to code a (quite simple) software like this in PHP? I have VERY little knowledge of PHP, but I have proven myself to be an extremely pretty fast learner. (braaag)
Well, I figure that I have to learn PHP soon enough anyway. Also, I would appriceate if you PHP-gods here could suggest a kick-*** book to learn PHP?
