Hi!

I am trying to network 2 pc's together so I can transfer files from one computer to the other, but I have no clue as to how to do it. I'm a mac user :-(

If anybody could provide instructions or a helpful link that would be excellent! Sorry to post such a simple question on here, but I am in a desperate hurry.

Thanks a lot

It sounds as though you want to connect 2 PCs together rather than 2 Macs.

There are a few articles on this page. The answer depends on the Operating Systems on each of the PCs:

DJ_B - Macs; that is really easy! Macs are made to do this and all you want to do is connect 2! A no-brainer!

Just connect the two together with a RJ-45 cable (ethernet). All Macs already come ethernet ready, and the newer ones come with gigabit ethernet - you go zoom. I have run up to 200 feet of cable and get great results.

Tell me which operating system you are using and I will give you more details about mac networking - OS9 or OSX?
