Apple.com Affiliate?

I've just come upon the realization that Apple's online store (store.apple.com) may have had an affiliate program through linkshare.com at some point - as I still see links to it from various website.

But am unable to find Apple on LinkShare's list.

Anyone know the details - when it was available - why it's not avail now?
