I always thought exitfuel had quite a good reputation.

Has anyone experienced adult ads which ask you to download something as well, as well as annoying multi pop ads when on their single ad program?

I don't use Exitfuel but I've heard of the adult content download thing happening. My friend is with another pop network and she mentioned to me how she's received complaints from some of her non-US users because they've gotten a porn related download screen while on her site. She has contacted her network and they're investigating it for her.

Have you contacted Exitfuel to ask them for help figuring this out? I'm sure that they'd try to get to the bottom of this.

Hello Jason,

Do you have a screen cap of what you are experiencing? We do have a creative that has a 'tasteful' bikini model promoting a streaming media subscription site. Other than that, there is nothing that is pornographic in nature from our clients. We do not condone this type of material on our network.

None of our Single pop clients are allowed more than a single pop. If you are experiencing this. Please notify exitfuel@exitfuel.com immediately.

This is the thread on my site which my users complained to me in. I thought that the popup companies I used were quite reputable, also perhaps the user might have downloaded some spyware which is causing adult ads to popup on his computer. So that is what I told them.

When the complaints persisted, usually I do not get served popups on my own site (we have 'premier' membership), I went to check it out myself.

My exitfuel pop then spawned several adult pops on me, and asked me to download the same software, twice!

I cannot allow my users to be subjected to adult popups, download popups, and multi pops.

Now this is probably not exitfuel's fault, perhaps a dodgy advertiser messing with his code? I hope this helps exitfuel in resolving such problems.

Jason, can you email Rusty regarding this so it can be sorted out as per his request?
