Javascript code to close frame window ?

My site uses Miva scripts and I have finally figured out how to use a Miva banner rotation script on my site.

The problem is when the banner is clicked it opens in a new window with a frame at the top (something the author of the script did)

Here is an example at
http://eva2000.com/br/index.html

click on a banner and you will see the top frame saying click here to close this window.

Problem is there is no link there.

Is there some javascript code or a way of closing the top frame and having the bottom window open by itself ?

well i figured out what was wrong, I saved the file wrongly which had the javascript in it ...
