Name: Peter T Davis
URL: www.oscusers.com
Age: It's about a year old
Traffic Stats: Averaging about 42,600 hits per month for the past four months
Ask Price: $800 OBO
Email: admin@oscusers.com
Revenue: This is not a revenue producing site. The idea was to push customers to my hosting company. It does do that, however, we do not have on staff someone to handle oscommerce sites any more, and we have turned away a number of jobs as a result.
Other Pertinent Data: The site receives much of its traffic from keyword positions on search engines, for example on MSN search it ranks first for the keyword 'oscusers'. It's listed well in all search engines, has a Google PageRank of 4. The site has 277 members, many of whom are people seeking help with their oscommerce based site. This site needs to be owned and managed by someone who has the capacity to serve these potential customers.

Profit is mentioned in the original post. It's indirect, a good means of customer acquisition for your hosting company, IF you have the ability to service people wanting an Oscommerce site.

I'm not sure what you mean by maintenance. If you've run a vBulletin forum before, you'll have a good idea about running the site. If not, a visit to www.vbulletin.com might be a good idea. Most of the better forums use vBulletin, this one for example.

Heh, I was chatting with you tonight about another topic, and didn't even realize you were making an offer. Send me an IM and maybe we can work something out.

FYI, I guess Peter should state this, but we have purchased the site from him.

Thanks,
