View Full Version : Please excuse Jan...
To Whom It May Concern,
Please excuse Jan from class for the next week or so as she is very busy and can't attend to lessons or her duties as Hall Monitor.
Jan is the proud granny of two brand new, lovely babies:
Lillian, born to daughter Nicolette on February 22nd, weighing in at 3.8kg (8 lb. 7 oz).
Bailey, born to daughter Heidi on February 23rd, weighing in at 5kg (11 lb. 1 oz).
Granny, daughters and babies are all happy, healthy and POOPED!
Feel free to post your words of congratulations to Jan and her girls!

Congratulations Jan! As the proud father of twin girls I can tell you that getting 2 beautiful little girls at the same time is a special blessing!
You're in for a lifetime of joy and special moments.
(And lets not forget a special note of congratulations to Heidi for her effort in delivering an 11 lb baby!)

Congrats to Nicolette, Heidi, and especially Jan! :daisy:
Sorry folks, I should have mentioned that Bailey is a BOY!
And don't forget to ask Jan when she gets back who (or what) Bailey was named for! Ooh I just love a mystery, don't you? :D

Congratulations Jan! :)
I'm sure you'll make a great grandmother! Remember to spoil 'em rotten! :)
Best of luck,
Thanks guys! I will pass this thread on to the girls when they get back online :)
I have taken some timeout today to do my thing, the kids are all doing well, mums and babies.
I think they both plan on staying in hospital another two days.
I can tell you it has been a strange few days here in Darwin  I am sure we will all come back to earth real soon.
Hello Richelle

I would like to take the opp. to clear any rumors before they begin. Though I too have been away for the last 5 days(trust me you do not want to know) and even the fact that one of the beautiful bouncing babies has the name Bailey, this blessing has nothing to do with my "sandman" walk thru the garden down under. Seriously, congratulations and may god continue to bless you and yours.

You guys are too funny! :p
Don't worry Dave, your secret is safe with me ;)
Steve, as usual you are a wealth of information with regards to the name Bailey. But where do you get the idea that some of us drink?
Both girls came home today, so life won't be quite so hectic as the last few days. As their Mum I have forbidden them to repeat this performance in such close proximity ever again!!!
Rhea! I am surprised at you!
But Jan, surprises are one of life's little gifts, don't you think?
I know you were all hanging out for a photo :p
So here is a pic of the little darlings (http://members.dingoblue.net.au/~sporri/Lillian-Bailey.jpg)
Aw Jan, they're so cute! And pink! And sleepy!!!
I think I found the perfect gifts for you to give to all the lovely widwives at the lying-in hospital...
HI RICHELLE!!!
hahahahahaha they are too cute to give away :)
