Good morning folks,
We have just taken over FourthDev.Com and I am looking to completely redesign the site from scratch. We need to get a new design for the site done, and I am therefor offering the following contest:
Site to be designed: www.fourthdev.com (http://www.fourthdev.com)
What we need: an awesome, flashy design that is better than any other HTML site that exists today. We are willing to pay the winning designer a LOT for the right work.
Specifications:
-- Cross-Browser, Cross-Platform, Cross-Resolution
-- Your scheme for colors
-- Space for various types of advertising built into the design.
Award: -- 100,000 banner impressions [yes, folks, thats 100k]
-- $25 gift certificate from Amazon.com
-- A free courtesy web hosting account if such is needed -- details
for this can be worked out with the winner. We're flexible.
-- If the design is good enough, I am willing to double the impressions.
-- Permanent link at the bottom of the site w/ credit
Copyright & Ownership:
-- If you do not win this contest, copyright is yours obviously, same with any other
ownership. If you don't win, we will not use the design.
-- The winner agrees to transfer all rights to the design to us, but may of course
use a snapshot, etc in their portfolio.
Deadline: 12 AM EST on August 1st, 2000
How to enter: To submit your design, please post a sample on a good web server
[if you need space, we'll give you such, just e-mail], and e-mail the URL to
fourcontest@thinkhost.com before the deadline.
We will be reviewing entries on an on-going basis and making a decision by August 15th. Because of the large amount of impressions and potential advertising offered, if we do not receive an adequate entry by the deadline, we may either choose to extend the deadline or drop the contest all together, however with the number of creative minds floating around this forum, I doubt that will be a problem.
Folks, we are going above and beyond to reward the winner, but we need a VERY high-quality site done. Good luck!
