Howdy folks,

I apologize for an off-topic (a tad?) post, but would any of you be interested in getting free hosting on our servers in exchange for marketing for our site?

Specifically we're willing to pay for reasonable bandwidth requirements of sites which provide resources for webmasters, etc.. The sorts of sites that are likely to drive targeted traffic to us.

Would anyone be interested in working out such an arrangement? I am more than open to options.

Sincerely,

Vladislav

I would be interested in doing something like that. I currently own http://www.plasticman.org and within this domain is 4 sites that generate approximately 35000 uniques per day (around 100,000 page views+)

Get back to me if you want. My email is webmaster@plasticman.org

Well my Network is in no way illegal. Webmasters from all over the web come and if I were to display and market your web hosting site, I'm sure there would be a lot of response from the various webmasters. But anyway, it's your choice.

It is not a particular necessity for me to acquire this deal so no real loss for me.

Here's another testimonial for Vladislav Davidzon, owner of ThinkHost.

I have recently made the switch over to them. And I must say they are a very caring company. The most important factor of being a good web host, other than the technical issues such as reliability and speed, would certainly be support. ThinkHost and Vladislav proved to be the best in both technical expertise and courteous support.

Thanks av1998 for telling us about your experiences.

What I'm also hoping is that folks will return to this Forum and tell us about their sale, trade, swap, purchase, etc after it is completed. So if the lead comes from this Forum they tell us it worked and all the other details if they are so inclined.

I do know that folks have struck deals in this Forum and in some cases for money. I will do my best to do more focused promotion for this Forum.

I am surprised there hasn't been more interest... why? http://geekvillage.com/ubb/smile.gif

not sure, but alot of us here with high medium to high traffic sites are happy on our current hosts or like me, have their own dedicated servers...

the only people interested would be those with new sites or sites with low traffic... but then you probably won't be interested

and i don't think many of us have webmaster type web sites...
